Jacques Pampiri Serves Up For Disney Cruise Lines
At 42, the head was given the launch of a new gourmet restaurant on board the 'Fantasy', the next Disney cruise ship. The recruitment of the brigade is in progress.
"Over thirty applications relevant, we had selected five for interviews. Upon meeting with Jacques Pampiri , it seemed like the restaurant manager that we needed to support the most ambitious dining aboard a cruise ship in recent years. Jacques had the profile Michelin we wanted but we also wanted someone with an open mind, essential in an international environment , " notes Marc Chetrit , director of International Services Office, in charge of recruitment of dozens of professionals in the hotel and catering on behalf of Disney Cruise. It was for this team to run the restaurant Remy aboard the Disney Dream , delivered in December.
